Im a UK composer/producer/dj trying very hard to get some exposure in this tuff world of music and get some interest in the UK or USA... Its taken me a while to discover myself and my sound since I first got some turntables when I was 16, trying to scratch with doug e fresh "the show", which i bought with my paper round money! while my dad was telling me to shut the **** up, turning the electric off..to the whole house! ...ha ha good times.. I could only afford 2 records back then. I stayed strong and never gave up because of my love for music and it made me strive and aim higher and push harder. I stopped collecting new vinyl which helped me find myself, Outside influences only impare your creativity, you don't get influenced if you only do you, only inspired. I do however have a few favorites who have inspired me along the way including Rakim,de la soul,jungle brothers,marley marl,busta,the neptunes,james brown, Pete rock, Gangstar (premier), Tribe called quest, Slick rick, EPMD, Dre, Timberland, Main source,Run dmc,Trouble Funk, Public Enemy, krs one,outkast,grandmaster flash,africa bam, etc etc, you know, all that good quality stuff that probably ecko's throughout the Hip Hop world, Not forgetting all the other FRESH artists out there who I don't need to mention, they know who they are. I feel very blessed to be able to share with you what I have been upto. I found it very hard to shake off the roots, I have, from being in love with Hip Hop since I discovered wild style , hanging out on street corners in covent garden thinking I was cool and trying to break dance when I was about 12. Hip Hop had me hooked... bringing up 3 children and holding down a **** job while creating my sound "the fullest" and building my own studio...Music always stayed my soul food.
