Together they have recorded two Grammy nominated storytelling collections, authored six books, written and produced two plays while maintaining busy solo performing schedules. David is a Grammy Award winning musician and storyteller. He is best know for his concerts around the country, his appearances on TNN and host of the PBS series "Folkways" and Public Radio's "Riverwalk." His many acclaimed recordings included the Grammy winner "Stellaluna." David toured and performed with Doc Watson for the last 14 years of Doc's life and together they won a Grammy for "Legacy." David has lived in the western North Carolina Mountains for 40 years. Bill Mooney starred for many years as Paul Martin on the ABC daytime serial "All My Children" and is a two-time Emmy nominee for that role. His one-man show of humorous frontier stories, "Half Horse, Half Alligator," was recorded by RCA Victor and toured America and Europe for two decades. Bill currently lives in Boulder, Colorado.
