Eddie Howell's 'Man From Manhattan' is one of the best known and best loved of all Queen's collaborations. It was recorded in August 1975, during Queen's 'A Night At The Opera' sessions" at Sarm East Studios in London. When it was issued as a single on Warner Bros records in 1976, it rapidly became a 'turntable hit', receiving heavy rotation on the airwaves - particularly in Europe where it became a big hit until it was banned from any further media exposure in the UK, much to the disappointment of Eddie and Freddie.
