When I used to live in Athens, in Greece, my production company and I used to share a 6-storey bulding right in front of the Acropolis! You could see the Parthenon from every floor of every window. So, every night when everyone from our building would leave, I would go to one particular room and I would begin to Sing into a digital recording apparatus I have, an hour every night. Facing the Acropolis. Then my Voice Improvisation Series began! Every night the same time I did my recordings and the next day I would listen to them and it would soothe my soul and my spirit which meant that my self dialogues were successful. I began to sing for the sheer enjoyment of singing and I enjoyed it.
