Alexandre Guerra builds his music traveling freely and with sensitivity between the classical and popular universes. In these “Brazilian Seasons”, there is an amalgam of pure art and “functional” music, in that case, serving for cinema and television. Orchestral writing blend together with a certain climate of bossa nova, just like the symphonic works of the master Tom Jobim on which Guerra draws his inspiration.
