The “All Glorious” CD features the music of Dorothy Gates, chronicling Dr. Gates impressive output of arrangements and original work written for the New York Staff Band in the period 2002 – 2015. Dorothy has served as the Music Editor for The Salvation Army’s [USA] Eastern Territory in New York and Composer-in-Residence for the New York Staff Band since 2002. Undaunted by the fact that she is the first woman to hold this position within The Salvation Army; she also asserts that all of her music for the NYSB has been written to the glory of God alone.
