'The Last Day' is a new single from musicby CHaD SmiTH that will be featured on the follow-up to his 2008 release, 'a winter's day.' Where before, he composed a landscape for a typical winter's day, this time he is focusing on everyday thoughts such as life, death, love, uncertainty, fear, and memories. "I am working towards producing a dynamic-sounding record as this translates well into our everyday thoughts... where we can be happy one day but sad the next. It's been interesting trying to accomplish this when working with one instrument (piano) but the composing process has been a interesting experience by seeing how these pieces have developed over the years."
