"The New Breed of Old School" is a re-recording of 6 songs from Mongrel's debut full length cd "Fear, Lies, & Propaganda" featuring new drummer Dave Kazukiewicz and new singer Jessica Sierra who joined the band in the summer of 2010. After being a male fronted band for 6 years, when it was clear there was no one better for the job than a woman, Mongrel proudly handed the vocal duties to Jessica and since she did the songs such a full justice and we thought improved on the old versions of these songs, we wanted to introduce our new members by re-introducing some familiar songs and re-recording them which is what you have here with "The New Breed of Old School" ep.
