"We've Got The Power" is a Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This was written in memory of Reverend King's powerful and touching "I Have A Dream" Speech; about brotherly love and non-discrimination on all levels for all people around the world. I was taught very young about MLK, non-discrimination and respect for one another in my home in New Jersey. It is a very special thing for me, as a Songwriter, to touch peoples hearts with the same message that touched my heart many years ago. I believe that Love lasts forever, Justice prevails and Truth marches on! WE MUST HELP AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER ... THE WAY WE WERE CREATED AS SISTERS AND BROTHERS ...
