Any stage, anywhere, any time, Goober Gun bring stadium sized songs and great harmonies together with a full on, utterly engaging and energetic live performance. With influences such as Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, The Wildhearts and Jimmy Eat World, Goober Gun craft slabs of anthemic rock, combined with a lyrical and musical depth that has won over audiences around the UK and beyond. The Goober Gun live shows are all about impact; full of dancing, good times and soaring choruses “We love playing live” says vocalist / drummer Tim Hardwick “Night after night our aim is for the audience to enjoy it as much as we are” It’s this simple desire to entertain with style that has brought Goober Gun a superb fan and critical response, and win the BT Digital Music Search For Talent, as well as ‘Best Band’ at the Mag Awards. As well as several UK Tours the band played show stealing gigs in Holland and Mexico. These Sol Beer and Jägermeister sponsored shows were to promote Goober Gun’s acclaimed ‘Monster and The Grey Goose’ EP In the summer of 2009 Goober Gun recorded their new EP ‘1979’. Their strongest and best sounding work to date, it caught the attention of promoters the world over, and Goober Gun headed off on a tour of Taiwan and Thailand in Jan 2010, including being booked for two massive arena charity shows with national TV coverage. The audiences fell for the sight and sound of Goober Gun in full flight, and the band are headed out to Asia for a 12 month tour in Oct 2010. Goober Gun played over 250 shows and made an instant impact. During the tour they recorded two new songs, 'You Are Alien' and 'Rock n Bangkok' which both became A-Listed on Thai radio. The band were also booked for the massive BURAPA Festival in Thailand, and Beijing Pop Festival. In 2012 Goober Gun played a 6 month residency at Hard Rock Cafe in Macau, and released their new single 'On The Beaches' - This was also remixed by renowned DJ Chamber, and has lit up dance floors around the world. In 2013 Goober Gun set up DyHard Productions, working on various entertainment projects around Asia. In March 2014 Goober Gun released 'Haxstrong - Giving Hope' a charity single for the taiwan Haxstrong charity, featuring a host of names from around Taiwan and beyond.
