"Road Trip" is a special album to me because I have always wanted to record a country album. People tell you you have to have a sound that's all yours. I agree with that to an extent, but get disheartened when I find an artist I like and each one of their songs sound like the last one. I love variety. I don't wanna fit inside a neat little box. I like music in every genre and something from every genre inspires me. So even though I'm calling this a country album, you will hear influences from other genres mixed in.
