Guitarist Ben Sher's fourth release on the BGI Records label. This recording was done in two recording sessions. The first features an allstar Brazilian Jazz rhythm section: Helios Alves, Vanderlei Pereira, and Leonardo Cioglia plus special guest Donny McCaslin. Donny was featured on David Bowie's last recording Blackstar. The other session features two West Coast musicians : Gary Fisher and Sylvia Cuenca. Sylvia is most known for her years of work with the Clark Terry Quartet. On this recording, Sher continues his Brazilian Jazz style that he popularized on his highly acclaimed releases Tudo Bem and Please Take Me to Brasil, and augments it with some soulful organ trio tracks.
