As a song writer/composer I love many different styles of music. In this case I remixed a classic jazz/bozza nova song and turned it into a new creation. Originally this song was sung by New York City vocalist Champian Fulton and released in a style and mood similar to a 1960's Ella Fitzgerald record. This new remix has elements that borrow from electronica and dance beats combined with a funky rock beat and backing vocals. Some have said it sounds like Florence + the Machine and others have said they like the juxtaposition of a classic sounding vocalist on top of a modern electro/funky rock base.
