Kurt Thomas is 2/3 of Kurt Thomas Hauswirth. In 2004, he attended Northern Michigan University, and soon after majored in Music Education. Kurt started recording music under the moniker Turkhaus in 2012. He released a string of solo EPs, such as Manifest, Future Grime, Guilt, Waiting Games, and recently, Phonophobia in October 2014 on Bandcamp. In late 2015, he changed his recording name to Kurt Thomas. Currently, he is exploring new processes through the use of samplers and synthesizers, and is writing a slightly autobiographical album that blends real life experiences with a surreal and psychological story.
