Back when the earth was thought to be flat (you know - 1963), Jake Holmes was in a comedic coupling with his wife Kay. And even though they seemed to be normal people when you met them, this record proves quite the opposite. It's impossible not to appreciate the consummate intelligence that went into creating this virtually unknown fun-folk glimpse of society from the early 60's. (Please note: the original master of the album was lost long ago so we had to resort to using the vinyl version. We hope you still find this to be quite entertaining.)
