Stephen Harrison's eighth solo album presents 10 new atmospheric acoustic guitar orientated songs with subject matter that continues his interest in the personal and universal. Stephen started writing songs as a teenager and then, in Edinburgh in 1978, he was a founder member of post punk band Metropak. After Metropak, he worked with several musicians in Scotland and one of his songs 'Sad And Blue' was included on a compilation album in 1986 called The Rough With The Smooth on the legendary Belgium label Les Disques Du Crepuscule. Since then he has produced and manufactured a number of CD's that are also available through many of the digital retailers. Since about 2011, he has orientated his song writing around acoustic guitar playing characterised usually with the so called fingerpicking technique. This album continues in that direction with embellishments with bass guitar and a second acoustic guitar on several of the tracks. The songs have been written and carefully distilled over the years since the last release, and this is perhaps his most consistent and listenable album to date.
