Liberty Hill Songs is the brainchild of Trevor Cummins, who's career started with a hit record for Honky in the late seventies. He was approached by publishers to write songs for artists such as Ben E. King and Billy Ocean. In the Eighties, Cummins signed to BETH (Chrysalis) Publishing and in 1986 wrote for Mel and Kim, Lonnie Gordon and later, Tim Rose and Elkie Brookes. Releases with Subliminal and Dr. Beat followed.
