This record was done in a home studio in Watertown, Mass. mostly with small guitar amps and cheap guitars. The transistor radio-sized Marshall belt clip-on amp was a favorite. The studio was being dismantled and sold as we were mixing. At one point there were several people impatiently waiting at the front door for equipment they had purchased on Ebay as we were desperately trying to find the sweet mix. I think the haste worked to our advantage.
