In 2005 my girlfriend died. Laura Netscher was her name. Her nickname was Daisy and she loved daisies. White ones. Her email address was daisyconfused@hotmail.com. This album is a tribute to her life and it is what I buried myself in following her death, trying to make sense of what had happened. I tried to focus on the light and joy of her life, rather than the sadness and turmoil of her death. I wanted this album to remind me of her personality and our time together when i'm old with a failing memory. Every track has significance, some more literally than others. I feel honored to have known her and this album is my epitaph to a beloved friend who shared a part of this adventure called life with me.
