Georgia based label veteran Drake Talley aka CDT, teams up with Joshua Philpot, aka Repulsion, from Oklahoma City for Thought Renders 28th release. The duo drops the hammer with two dubstep bangers, Pyramidz, the EP title cut, and What U Do 2 Me - both weighing in at 140bpm. Pyramidz provides a heavy sub-bass workout with its dynamic modulations creating a layer of grit for the hypnotizing percussions to pierce though. What U Do 2 Me is a true nod to the under ground scene with hop-hop vocal samples cascading over a 4x4, deep penetrating kick. Both tracks are their own story, a story in which the ambiance leads you on a safe path through the gutters of the city.
