O Holy Night
Kevin Riley executes a powerful vocal performance to a beautiful orchestral arrangement by Jansen Goodwin in this rendition of the traditional favorite, O Holy Night. Written by French poet, Placide Cappeau in 1847, Cantique de Noël or "Minuit, Chrétiens" translated to English as "O Holy Night" was set to music by Adolphe Adam. With a soft introduction, Riley delivers the lyrics like that of a troubadour as he builds the song telling the story about one the greatest nights known to mankind. Riley captures the essence of the song with his distinct baritone vocals and translates the message with a very compelling performance. As the song builds, Riley’s passion is evident as he heralds the news about the night that Christ was born and then ends the song with a sweet, gentle "oh night divine."
