Open My Heart is Sharon Phillips debut acoustic album. She is a singer-songwriter-guitarist, who has been performing in upstate New York for over 30 years. Sharon has worked with music and children since the mid 70's, starting with special needs children as a music therapist. Over the years she has been a choir master, music teacher, and entertainer. This first CD is a collection of a lot of her worship music, although at her husbands insistence she also included one of his favorite wedding song's that she wrote, "Today". This CD came about when a prison ministry group she belongs to donated money to buy her studio time to showcase her christian music. As a result of their generosity, Sharon has decided to contribute $10 of each physical CD she sells at her public appearances to the Saint Judes Hospital. Sharon has more CD's in the works, a collection of original Christmas music, a collection of original children’s music, and at least 2 CD's of her non-christian songs, after all she has been writing songs for over 30 years.
