Not that there's an episode of Beavis and Butthead like this that exists, but the Vindictives have a sound that comes pretty close to this. Basically, The Many Moods of the Vindictives is a compilation of out of print EPs that were released between 1991 and 1995; not really an official full-length, but it gives us the idea of what we've been missing out on since the early 1990s. Hints of frustration and bad days are quite present in Joey Vindictive's (vocals) lyrical content with songs like "I'm Sick," for example: "I think I must be the only one who is so disgusting and miserable, I'm sick of being a human being." Then there's "Assembly Line," which deals with the nightmare of suburbia and working a monotonous job ("We left for work from our white house/and then she chewed up 50 tablets of Valium"). Not the happiest subject matter out there, but that shouldn't get in the way for one to rock out with this.
