Futuristica Music presents Sun Circle - a project by producer DJ Simon S (formally of Break Reform) and UK soul/nujazz/downtempo vocalist Deborah Jordan who was the lead vocalist of Silhouette Brown and has recently worked with 4Hero, Bugz In The Attic, Soundspecies, Jneiro Jarel, Rednose Distrikt and many more. The album entitled Reborn is taking the broken beat and jazzy future soul groove to a higher level with it's warm blend of soul and laidback nujazz style. It's the glowing natural warmth that puts this project a step ahead of the pack. The Sun Circle project is a vey personal under taking which reflects the diverse musical backgrounds and influences of Simon and Deborah - namely Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul and Classical music. The beats, bass and stirring elements floating over the melodies are nice enough, and Deborah's voice carries it straight to the heart & soul -- while a few tunes offer of a broader palette of colorful sounds, including vibes in the title tracks and some strings.
