A release brimming with quality through and through, Jason van Wyk & Dreamquest debut on our label with what can only be described as the type of trance music that serves a purpose, the type of music that embraces our souls. 18 year old Jason van Wyk hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, teams up with Tee Covington from the US, under his 'Dreamquest' alias, they have crafted an incredibly uplifting piece of trance music that opens our minds to a whole new level of imagination. Serving up a 4 track vinyl release, the Original 'Lost Sunrise' Mix is just about as uplifting as they come. Brimming with beautiful soundscapes and an electric guitar melody that's just pure quality, the track builds marvelously before unleashing a melody that holds nothing back. Perfect dream trance for the peak of the night, it's music like this that makes us realize what exactly Trance is. Following on from the incredible original mix is the North Star Mix. This time around we are treated to something completely different. Being an alternative to the original, this mix is one for those times when you can just sit back and embrace the music, but don't be fooled, this track works equally well on the dance floor. Rounding off the package, we have two remixes from two new names to the scene. Taking a break from his usual hard trance roots, Brent Rix delivers a trancy affair that serves as yet another alternative mix that stands on its own and takes the track in a whole new direction. Lastly, we have a mix from John O'Connor. This time around the track is broken down and re-crafted into something new, with John conjuring up a mix that's perfect for the harder inclined tech trance fans out there. And available exclusively on digital format, is the Ian Buff Remix from our label manager himself. This mix is probably just as uplifting as the original, with a full on driving acid line and a memorable breakdown. Definitely not to be missed! All in all, each mix stands firmly on its own, each delivering quality music in it's own right.
