The new project follows up Olavas critically-acclaimed 2010 album The Guest. No word yet on a U.S. release. From Ingrid Olavas Facbook Page: One week from now I will FINALLY release my third album, SUMMER HOUSE. Working on this album has brought me through different cities, co-writers, producers and musicians. It has been a journey where I have heavily doubted myself at times, Ive written and thrown away and written again. What Ive ended up with is a collection of songs I strongly feel are my own, even though they bear the influence of a London producer, a scottish man in Berlin, a scottish man in Los Angeles, a swedish singer-songwriter, a norwegian raga-singer and lots, lots more. This fall I celebrate eight years of being a performing and recording artist. A lot has changed since I secretly rehearsed my first self-written songs in an attic in Oslo ten years ago. I feel blessed to be able to once again share my songs with an audience, Im thrilled and nervous, happy and tired from waiting. The first part of the tour will be by the long and beautiful roads of my homeland, but more dates will follow shortly.
