Corazon de Piedra

Corazon de Piedra doesn't try to compete, but quietly and assuredly offers an intimate, backporch glimpse of one of Austin's masters of old-time traditional Tex-Mex Conjunto music. This vintage working class form originated historically from a mingling of German and Czech settlers' waltzes and polkas with Mexican corrido song stories. The perfect disc for fans of Los Lobos who would enjoy exploring those roots somewhat deeper.
