Perhaps Zeke's finest album, it is also the band's most varied in tempo and song length -- some tracks clicking in well under a minute, some riding out for a few. Building on the strengths of Super Sound Racing, Flat Tracker is exponentially a much better record, and part of that is the inclusion of a second guitar, solidifying the lineup, and adding both greater depth and talent to the sound. The leads are more electrifying, and the riffs are heavier. After an aborted debut album, numerous singles, and Super Sound Racing, Zeke found its voice with Flat Tracker, as evidenced with tracks like "Mystery Train," "Raped," and "Chiva Knievel."
