Perfect for the late night clubbers out there. Wesley Monteiro started his music career in 2004. After he learned a few chords, Wesley started to build a band with some friends, in the basement of his aunt. What started as 'a joke', became serious business in a very short time. The band got their first booking and before they knew, they had several worldwide bookings in clubs and on some big festivals. In 2009 Wesley went to Extrema festival to watch his nephew 'Benny Rodrigues', closing the main stage and from that moment on, he was infected with house music. While he was watching 'Benny' destroying the crowd, he knew, one day he wanted to be part of it. Wesley started to create some house ideas on his Korg Triton. In 2011 Wesley picked up the house music again, which was the year of his first official release, a latin house track named 'Madalena'. This track was in collaboration with one of the biggest DJ and producer from the Netherlands' Gregor Salto, his uncle Anibel Fortes and Melissa Fortes. The track became number one on Dance-Tunes and also got nominated as 'best house' track at the Cabo Verde Music Awards 2012. In 2013 you can expect several releases from Wesley Monteiro, which varies between Afro/ Latin House/ Tribal/ Techno & banging festival beats.
