Pitched Drums, Opus 2 was composed in 1999 and is respectfully dedicated to Edmund Fay. The chosen pitches create the following intervals: 2 tritones, 2 Perfect 5ths, 1 minor 2nd and 1 minor 9th. With those intervals available, it was my hope that I would be able to create a variety of tonalities and have the opportunity for rich counterpoint. - Peter Jarvis
