The album "Parallels" is a fresh documentation of the encounter of classical and jazz chamber music. Classical being represented by world famous tuba virtuoso Roland Szentpali, who is well known for his musicianship and composing skills in the classical field, but little is known of his talent for playing fabulous jazzy and modern grooves. Aron Romhanyi is a jazz pianist and composer from Budapest. He has recorded albums, and/or played with: Gary Willis, Brandon Fields, Jojo Mayer, Tom Brechtlein. Several of his compositions can be found on "Parallels", accompanied by classical pieces from S Rachmaninoff, G. F. Handel, Chick Corea and P. W. Ellis. Guest star: Robert Sturzenbaum on trombone.
