While assembling the songs for Tracy's soon-to-be-released album "Shades of Beautiful," Tracy and Richard invited Nona Hendryx—the grainy-voiced, feral soul singer who co-founded Labelle—to participate in the album. “Nona had no interest in singing a song written by someone else,” says Tracy, “but she invited me to write something with her.” The result was Walk with Me, an anthem of brotherhood with an early-‘70s pop-soul vibe. The way the world is going crazy these days, the song kept playing in our heads. Some of us even took to playing it every morning while getting ready to face the day. It seems like the perfect time for this song to be OUT THERE. We just wanted to post links to it all the time. The song haunts us!
