Jim Wells (baritone), and Joann Wells (accomplished pianist) have blended their talents in the field of gospel/inspirational music in Southern California, and throughout the United States. Both Jim and Joann credit their early musical beginnings in the church. Jim studied voice with the late Earle Anderson of Azusa University, and Dr. Tom Cleveland of the University of Southern California. Jim sang with the Audrey Mieir choir and other choral groups, in addition to his solo work. As a teenager, Jim, his brother, John, and sisters June and Jane, formed a quartet known as the "Four J's" singing at various church and local events. June and Jane have joined Jim, on this CD, in duets and trios. Joann studied organ and piano with Dr. Peter Slack. She was an active member of the Long Beach, CA Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. She began her musical career at 13 as pianist for Youth For Christ. Later, she served as accompanist for many leading singers in the gospel field of music, including the late Tony Fontane. Rev. Harold Pittman is an accomplished musician and a trained vocalist. Harold is Minister of Music at one of the largest churches in Los Angeles. He has joined Jim and Joann on this CD vocally, on organ, and electronic keyboard/strings. Harold's wife, Christy, is also an accomplished vocalist, joining Jim and Harold.
