Back in full force with his sixth instalment for Upon You, T Raum turns in his newest piece of no-nonsense floor artillery, 'Peace Rebel'. Made up of a trio of heavy-duty rollers bound to wreak absolute havoc in their wake, this new effort from the Austrian based German producer and Schönbrunner Perlen sublabel “New Tomorrow” owner has us going through corridors of industrial-informed pelt and noise-splattered signals rushing like ruthless adrenaline onslaughts down our quivering spines. Foraying halfway full-blown techno brutalism and cross-pollinated EBM flavors, T Raum keeps everyone on his toes from start to finish, and the title-track 'Peace Rebel' feat. Kiko King sure attests to the steely firepower involved and overall immersive murk flooding its rusty ballast. A total madness of a joint, fusing the vertical hammering of classic 909-ish kicks, freq-jamming pyrotechnics, and cold, hypnotic chimes swinging along gusts of a hot-tempered groove. A more adaptative weapon of sorts, 'Reorganizer' melds T Raum's signature genotype of hard-nosed 4x4 music with further nonconformist tropes of stealth bass and folds of nostalgia-drenched mellifluousness more akin to that of deep house at its most haunting. The ideal number to keep ravers in check as their minds and legs begin to go numb. Final number 'Relevant' rounds it off proper badman style with a solid mix of stormy bass punch and laser-guided predator funk going straight for the jugular. There comes a sky-darkening barrage of warehouse-ready rumble and hi-impact explosiveness, so be sure to buckle your seatbelt ahead of takeoff.
