After an incredibly hyped five tracker from Arfy Wild for WWBR025, the team at White Widow Records HQ couldnt be happier to deliver our next offering; a remix EP to celebrate the one year anniversary of Higher Selfs much appreciated single The Youth. Coming in usual White Widow Records fashion, WWBR026 brings heavy garage anthems and no frills club cuts. The way heavy hittin dance music was suppose to sound. First up we have two of the UKs finer talents in Birminghams Giddy Aunt and Sutton local The Bumpy Fool - who you might also know as Thomas Graham. Each lad brings something special to the production game, and while they bring a similar style, you can hear the level of detail this joint venture showcases. From chunky kick drums and piercing tech claps to pitched vocal hooks and a hypnotic low end Giddy Aunt and The Bumpy Fool take us down a rabbit hole of wide house bass and UK Garage influences. Next on the remix is Blane Read, another Brit who hailing from Milton Keynes knows the exact ingredients to turn things up a notch. His edit delivers a much eclectic approach; with a palette of heavy bass tones and sparse vocal chops it hits you as a modern take on the nostalgic dance anthem. To close things off we bring fellow Polish natives Axe Cutz, the two piece duo - who reside in our home town of Warsaw - join the White Widow ranks with a lovely remix of The Youth. The boys bring an edgy synth bass, heavily processed top line and an organ melody that would leave even the most seasoned of ravers in a dream state.
