I came home one day after work and just thought about the situation with our children. I realized that so many households are single mothers raising children alone. I thought about the hardships that are created because of this situation (financial, economic, etc.) with there being only one parent in the household. The words just began to flow when I put the pen to the paper and the end result was "Daddy Can't You Stay". I hope that the song will be thought provoking and an inspiration to all that hear it.
