Daisuke Yamagishi, under his OMB production guise has been responsible for a number of progressive and chill-out gems since his first full-length album release, "Flying Over Tokyo", on Groove Zone back in 2006 and a remix of Dave Seaman's "My Own Worst Enemy" for Audio Therapy, alongside Trafik, in 2004. With his work played by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo and Seb Fontaine, OMB has found his work signed to a plethora of labels including, Flow Vinyl, Lowbit and a recent high-profile EP on 99percentrecords with a trio of remixes from the Proton triumvirate of Cid Inc., Silinder and Tvardovsky. In addition to a wealth of production material signed to such high-calibre imprints and music licensed to the Microsoft Xbox, Daisuke also runs his own Frame Recordings label which has provided a vehicle for his own releases, alongside a galaxy of Japanese and international producers. It is against this impressive backdrop that Particles is now delighted to launch OMB's debut, "Razy Moon" EP. Named after the chic Japanese bar in Saitama, the title track is a slice of uplifting, up-tempo progressive bliss with a carefully constructed build and a wonderful sense of dynamic engagement. Beyond a rhythmic bass line and plucks that interlock effortlessly into the driving a beat, a spacious lead line completes a heady combination of sounds to create something quite special. The second track, "Circles" has a deeper house vibe with its hypnotic and metrical stabs, combined with a raft of well-crafted progressive elements. Luscious pads add a layer of deep textured sound to the deep and soulful sound and a vocal element helps complete the overall picture. With the developed melodious sounds of "Razy Moon", OMB has mapped a 'sea of serenity' across his own progressive landscape.
