Basically, Ultra Bra is pop, but there are various references to almost every genre. Of course, this is easy to carry out because of the large number of different instruments in the band and the wide variety between the five main singers. Everything seems to be alright then, but, unfortunately, all the songs aren't as good as this band demands. Of course craggy choruses in "Säkeitä Erwin Rommelille" and "Kahdeksanvuotiaana" are the absolute highlights of the album, and many other songs are great as well, but as a whole, Vapaaherran Elämää doesn't work so well. This is easy to understand, of course, Vapaaherran Elämää is the debut album of Ultra Bra, and, therefore, many things are still open. The sound, for example, sounds impressive at first but soon it seems to be too flat. When band has the size of an orchestra, the sound should feel the same.
