Rude Kid returns on No Hats No Hoods with four beastly synth-driven riddims. Following a tradition of urban club music ingesting tranced-out synthlines, 'Rain Drops' features MDMA-infused chords pierced with pointillist snares and toxic bass, before 'Always Ready' starts the dance with alien synth sweeps over his signature whipcrack syncopations, kinda like a more evil cousin to Terror Danjah. The menacing 'Peter Pan' slings tense horror strings and a twinkling lead motif out over a crushing bass just cowing for some MC action and 'Squash' is easily the rowdiest of the lot, dominated by a rampant electro synth and lairy soca drums for a pure sweat off in the dance.
