일렉트릭 팝 밴드 SYMMETRY(시메트리) SYMMETRY 는 음악을 담당하는 J(유정식)와 보컬리스트 박가은, 김태윤으로 결성된 3인조일렉트로 팝 그룹이다. ‘대칭’을 뜻하는 SYMMETRY라는 이름에서 보듯, 이들은 자신들의 음악적 모티브를 한 축으로 하고 현대적인 표현기법을 다른 한 축으로 대비시킴으로써 새로운 댄스뮤직 만들기를 목표로 하고 있다. 70,80년대 디스코와 뉴웨이브/신스 팝으로부터 강한 영향을 받은 J(유정식)가 작곡 및 편곡을 담당하고, 테크니컬한 허스키보이스의 박가은과 김태윤의 목소리가 조화를 이룬 이들의 곡들은 하우스뿐 아니라 클래식디스코와 펑크(Funk), 그리고 재즈의 색채도 느끼게 해준다. With their own musical inspiration on one side and the modern technique on the other side, J, Ga-Hean and Tae-Yoon share the one common goal which is creating a new generation of dance music. The record keeps a good balance between two singers Ga-Eun, Tae-Yoon and J who wrote the entire tracks of this record and is not shy at all showing us that he is influenced by 70s and 80s disco, and new wave synth pop. The style of the songs is so diverse that they relate their sound to traditional disco, funk, and even to jazz. 1st Digital Single - I Feel Love Again 2008년 10월 첫 번째 EP앨범 ‘Passion of Paradiso’로 이달의 우수 신인음반을 수상한 시메트리는 2010년 정규앨범을 향한 첫 걸음으로 싱글 앨범 ‘I Feel Love Again’을 발표했다. ‘I Feel Love Again’은 시메트리가 추구하는 전형적인 하우스로 남성보컬 태윤이 처음으로 조인하여 완성한 곡이다. 두 번째 트랙 ‘Sandwich day’는 80년대 댄스 팝에 영향을 받아 만들어진 곡으로 시메트리의 또 다른 매력을 느낄 수 있다. 모던록밴드 보드카레인의 기타리스트 해완이 피처링한 일렉기타 연주가 돋보인다. October 2008, the band won ‘the best album of the month from new artist’ with their debut EP, ‘Passion of Paradise.’ 2010, they released the single album, ‘I feel love again’ before they put out their first full length. The song, ‘I feel love again,’ which co-wrote by every member of the band including Tae-Yoon who recently join the band, has bold house music sound. The second track of the album is ‘Sandwich Day.’ This song will show everybody another dimension of SYMMETRY with 80s dance pop sound. The song also features the guest appearance of Hae-Wan, the guitarist from Vodka Rain. 1. I Feel Love Again 남성보컬 태윤의 보강 이후 처음 선보이는 싱글 앨범. I feel love again은 오래된 연인들 사이에 일어나는 마음을 노래한 곡으로써 전형적인 시메트리의 보컬하우스 곡. 태윤의 보강으로 지난 앨범보다 좀 더 다채롭고 강한 사운드를 들려준다. 2. Sandwich Day 늘 쳇바퀴 돌듯 같은 일상 속에서 잃어버린 꿈들에 대한 아쉬움을 노래한 곡. 멤버들이 작업 중 끼니를 때우며 먹던 샌드위치와 80년대 팝송에서 영감을 받아 만들었다. 특히 보드카레인의 이해완군의 기타세션으로 시메트리의 또 다른 사운드를 선보인 곡.
