I couldn´t believe it when I heard this morning that Gerald had died at only 40 years old. Unbelievable. He was such an amazing talent - a powerful and silky smooth baritone voice that was gorgeous to listen to. This is one of my favourite cd´s of his. It has one of the most beautiful songs I´ve ever heard on it - I´d Give Anything. That is a fantastic song that I still love after all of these years. I also really love Same Place, Same Time and Have Mercy. It´s one of his best cd´s and certainly one of my favourites (apart from G.). His voice was so full of emotion and it stands out here really well. It´s a stunning love cd and it is full of bedroom music. I really recommend this to all R&B fans and fans of his in general. To know that we won´t hear any more new music is the biggest shame. At least we can hear this over and over to hear his voice whenever we want. Go get a copy of this - it´s worth every penny.
