A shimmer of summer's heat wave has arrived in the form of rising Los Angeles duo Holychild, who will release their debut album, cheekily titled The Shape of Brat Pop to Come, via Glassnote Records. Holychild's Louie Diller co-produced the LP with Grammy-winning producers Greg Wells (Katy Perry, Adele) and Cian Riordan (5 Seconds of Summer, Keith Urban). "Brat Pop is rebellious pop music," said singer Liz Nistico, who met Diller in college at her modern dance class, where he was the musical accompanist. "We love pop, we love catchy melodies, and more importantly, we love using these elements to make people think differently about their role in our culture."
