Kazusa is starting to make a name for himself in the progressive house scene, including recent collaborations with acclaimed Russian artist Mango. Arrival is excited to present Kazusa's first single release, "Coast Along". The original mix starts with a firm beat and various tweaks; soon thereafter, an exciting synth riff appears with subtle pad notes in the background. As the track progresses, more percussion elements are added as well as additional layers on the theme riff. Tokyo Bay Cruise, Mango's cheeky new alias, adds more texture in his remix by emphasizing the tweaks and effects, while a frisky beat -- with driving percussion lines -- helps to enhance the overall liveliness of the track. As another variation, some cool pluck synths are added underneath the theme lead. Finally, Dmitry K and Beeswax deliver a dub remix with a more aggressive beat and rough bassline notes. The intermittent bell melody plays well with the varied theme riff, and, together with the other elements, they unite to create an innovative and techy soundscape.
