On this CD, he forged a new partnership with the young organist Joey DeFrancesco, and they work together perfectly on a set of blues, ballads and standards. Randy Johnston adds some nice George Benson-ish guitar solos; Sammy Figueroa's congas are an added plus, and trumpeter Phillip Harper (despite his entrance in the wrong key on "Namely You") tries his best to fill in for Lee Morgan.
