"Shut Up and Drive" is a song written by Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers for Barbadian R&B singer Rihanna's third album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007). The track contains an interpolation from "Blue Monday" by New Order, embracing a noticeable rock-oriented sound.[3] It was released as the second single from the album in some markets in June 2007 (see 2007 in music).[4] The song reached #1 on the Billboard dance charts.
