edward shearmur
Edward Shearmur（有时也被称为Ed Shearmur;1966年2月28日出生）是英国电影作曲家。出生在英格兰伦敦，在7岁时他在Westminster Cathedral参加男声合唱团。他就读于Royal College Of Music之后又在剑桥大学Pembroke College获得奖学金。他进一步磨练自己的技艺是作为Michael Kamen（在电影《Licence To Kill》、《Die Hard》、《Lethal Weapon》和广受好评的《Don Juan DeMarco》中出现）的助理，进行策划和指导，后来进行第一个完整长度的电影《The Cement Garden》的配乐，在柏林电影节上获得导演的赏识。1997年他在《The Wings Of The Dove》中配乐，他证明了他为广受欢迎的不同类型电影配乐的优势和全能，包括《Charlie's Angels Outings》,《Cruel Intentions》,《Species II》和《K-PAX》。 除了他的电影工作，Shearmur一直对摇滚充满深深的热爱，同时作为键盘手和编曲人与多位顶级表演者合作，包括Eric Clapton,Annie Lennox,Pink Floyd,Marianne Faithfull,Bryan Adams,Echo ＆ The Bunnymen,Jimmy Page和Robert Plant。 Shearmur影响了许多艺人。其中之一是身边的艺人David Helpling。Helpling寻求具有影院级高品质的歌曲并借鉴Shearmur的作曲风格。
