Hazell Dean (born Hazel Dean Poole, 27 October 1956 Great Baddow, Essex) is an UK dance-pop singer-songwriter, and producer well known for her husky alto voice timbre, and her hit songs, "Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go)", "Who's Leaving Who?", "Searchin' (I Got To Find a Man)", "Maybe (we should call it a day)" and "Turn it into love".
