toots hibbert
Toots Hibbert（出生于1945年12月10日）是斯卡和根源雷吉风格的歌手、是雷鬼乐队Toots & the Maytals的领导人。在Kingston，他遇见了Raleigh Gordon 和Jerry Matthias，他们成立乐队Maytals。20世纪60年代，和制片Coxsone Dodd, Prince Buster, Byron Lee和 Leslie Kong Maytals合作，乐队成为牙买加的一个非常流行的组合。乐队的三首歌曲获得了牙买加国家流行歌曲大赛的奖项：1966年，Bam Bam；1969年，Sweet and Dandy；1972年，Pomps & Pride。 Hibbert是第一批使用的单词“reggae”的艺术家，1968年发行的单曲Do The Reggay。Toots今天仍然在世界各地巡回演出，他的乐队于2004年获得葛莱美最佳雷鬼音乐专辑。
