Serenity
Serenity是一支来自奥地利的金属乐队，其因为风格为Melodic Power Metal，并且受到了progressive、power以及symphonic 风格影响，Serenity的历史开始于2001年1月，第一个完整的阵容：Mario Hirzinger、Matthias Anker、Stefan Schipflinger、Stefan Wanker、Andreas Schipflinger，最初他们靠着现场表演和第一个Demo《Starseed V.R》，使他们很快的在家乡奥地利蒂罗尔州成为领先的旋律金属乐队。当他们正准备向着更高层次前进时，2003年底及2004年初，三个创始成员离开了乐队。乐队开始寻找新的吉他手、贝斯及主唱，2004年3月起，乐队成员包括：Georg Neuhauser、Thomas Buchberger、Simon Holzknecht、Mario Hirzinger、Andreas Schipflinger，2005年春天，他们自己录制的demo，《Engraved Within》，受到欧洲金属界一至好评，并且这张专辑让Serentiy有机会到欧洲各地巡演，乐队很快加入了Napalm Records旗下，在2007年发行了最新专辑《Words Untold & Dreams Unlived》。跟之前的专辑相比之下，Words Untold & Dreams Unlived的音乐显得更有Serenity的特色，旋律性强的力量金属，搭配前卫金属变拍、变调的特色，再用扎实的吉他音色，搭配主唱音域广泛，强力不失真的唱腔，塑造出流畅华丽、刚柔并济的自我形象。新专辑共收入了Canopus 3、Thriven、Dream Unlived、Reduced To Nothingness、Forever、Dead Man Walking、From Where The Dark Is Born、Worlds Untold、Circle Of My 2nd Life、Engraved Within十首编曲复杂、旋律性极高的金属大作，部份的曲子是重新录制前两张专辑里的代表作，经过一段长期的制作过程，新专辑展现出 Serenity最真实的一面，也是最原始的一面，2007年，Serentiy同Morgana Lefay、Sacred Steel、Threshold、Communic、Machine Men、Kamelot、Adagio巡演，遗憾的是，由于个人原因，Thomas 和 Mario没能参加这个大型巡演，取代他俩的是Mario Sterns和Franz Josef Hauser 。这次巡演遍及十个欧洲国家，也为乐队赢得了许多乐迷和朋友，新专辑《Fallen Sanctuary》从07年12月开始制作，08年4月完成，8月29号在欧洲上市、9月9日在美国加拿大上市。一张很完美的专辑，不容错过。
