OCT 2002 ESTUARY forms with members Zdenka Prado (lead vocals), Ash Thomas (guitars/backing vocals), Jesse Wilson (drums), & Brad Howard (guitar). DEC 2002 ESTUARY releases its first & only demo “Riding the Tides of Malice”, a three song affair of melody ridden Death/Thrash Metal. Shortly after its release, the band’s line-up is solidified with the addition of Steve Eberl on bass. MAY 2003 ESTUARY is approached by IBEX MOON RECORDS who offers to release their debut full length. The contract is signed, & the band enters the studio to commence recording “To Exist & Endure” in NOV 2003. JUNE 2004 “To Exist & Endure” is released & is met with a killer response throughout the worldwide Metal underground scene. The band’s mix of Traditional Heavy Metal melody with Savage Death/Thrash Metal sparks the interest of old school freaks & younger fans alike. ESTUARY builds upon the success of “To Exist…” by playing various shows throughout 2004 & 2005, & in doing so establishes themselves as a vicious live act. JUNE 2005 ESTUARY embarks on their first official US tour with Incantation which in itself is a complete success. New fans are gained in every city by the band’s punishing brand of Thrashing Death Metal. APRIL/MAY 2006 ESTUARY takes their Metal overseas for a killer tour through France, Spain & Portugal with label mates Bloody Sign. The onslaught continues, & more ESTUARY bangers join the ranks. SEPT 2006 ESTUARY enters the studio to begin recording their second album entitled “The Craft of Contradiction”. Having been reduced to a 3 piece with the loss of both B. Howard & S. Eberl as full time members in 2005, Zdenka, Ash, & Jesse journey on, & create what is by far their best & most accomplished work. APRIL 2007 “The Craft of Contradiction” is finally released. Sonically, the album is an onslaught of Thrash tinged Death Metal laced with punishing melodies, sheer neck-breaking precision & jaw-dropping vocals of pure destruction. ESTUARY’s skill at mixing and molding traditional Thrash & Heavy Metal with the Immortal Force of Death Metal is once again in full form. Various shows are played & the album gains positive reviews from every Metal realm. OCT 2007 ESTUARY crosses the Atlantic again to join the Balkans Assassination Tour w/ Krisiun, Incantation, & Inactive Messiah. Death Metal veteran Jack Owen (Deicide/ex-Cannibal Corpse) attacks ESTUARY & fills in on bass. 11 countries are hit & the band returns home victorious yet again. JAN 2008 ESTUARY recruits Charlie Williams on bass after a strenuous search for the right member. MAY 2008 ESTUARY journeys to the North & plays their 1st round of Canadian Tour dates with Lapidate & endures the following high-priced gas summer months with shows & festivals. OCT 2008 ESTUARY starts a US tour with Death/Thrash pioneers Master. The band covers mass ground in 16 brutal days destroying cities from coast to coast.
